Managing your insurance online
You can manage your new and renewing insurance policies in your online account, called the IAG dashboard. You can access the dashboard by logging in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.^
For car, home, contents, and landlord’s insurance, if your policy has not renewed, you’ll only be able to see your PremierCare policy in Internet Banking (not the BNZ app). Once the policy has renewed, you can see your new policies in both Internet Banking and the BNZ app.

Get a quote or request a call back
- Log in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.
- From the menu select Apply now.
- Select Insurances.
- Choose the insurance you want to get a call back or quote for.
- Follow the prompts to consent to move to an IAG managed platform, and agree to the terms and conditions of using the IAG dashboard.
- Select the insurance you want to get a call back or quote for.
Pay for your insurance
- Log in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.
- From the menu select Insurances.
- Select Go to dashboard to access your IAG dashboard.
- Choose the insurance policy you want to make a payment for or update.
- Select View all details.
- Scroll down to ‘Payment plan’ and select Pay now.
Other payment options
Select a payment option and follow the prompts.
- Payment method - Change how you pay your premiums.
- Payment plan - Make a payment, request a payment extension or edit your payment frequency.
Manage your renewal online
When your renewal pack arrives, review the following to make sure it still suits your needs:
- sum insured
- any excesses
- optional benefits (such as Trailer Cover, Glass Breakage & Excess free spectacles, dentures, and hearing aids)
- payment method – change how and when you pay your premiums for no extra cost whatever frequency you decide.

Manage your policies and quotes
- Log in to the BNZ app or Internet Banking.
- From the menu select Insurances.
- Select Go to dashboard to access your IAG dashboard.
- Select the insurance policy or quote you want to update.
- Select View all details.
- Select an option and follow the prompts.
- Update your policy - Update your sums insured, excess amount, add or remove optional benefits.
- Policy documents - View, download, or print your policy documents.
- Policy contact details - Edit your contact details and mailing preferences.
Boat, trailer, caravan, motorhome, and motorcycle insurance
You can’t view these insurances in your IAG dashboard. To make changes to these policies, or get a quote, call the IAG team on 0800 808 618.
Existing PremierCare home, contents, and vehicle insurance
If you have existing PremierCare home, contents, or vehicle insurance, at your next annual renewal from January 2026, your PremierCare insurance will be moved to new policies that have enhanced online features and functionality. You’ll receive communications about your new policies before they renew. You’ll also receive information on how to manage your insurance online.
