If you don’t refix
If you choose not to refix, your home loan will automatically switch to a standard variable (floating) rate the day after your fixed term ends.^
If your home loan is due to roll off its fixed term within the next 60 days, you may be able to refix your mortgage using the BNZ app when it suits you.

After selecting Choose a new rate, a new window will open. At the top of this window you’ll see your existing rate and term. In the table displayed you’ll see a list of term and rate options.
If you’re eligible for any discounted rates, you’ll see those rates here.^
Select a term and rate option from the table, then scroll down to continue.
Choose whether you’d like to change your repayments or keep them as is, then scroll down to continue.
Read over the terms, then select Agree.
Review your new rate and term, then select Confirm.
You’ll be able to see the details of your new fixed rate and fixed term in your home loan account, and you’ll also receive a copy via email.
