How to refix your home loan in Internet Banking

If your home loan is due to roll off its fixed term within the next 60 days, you may be able to refix your mortgage online when it suits you.

Steps to refix your home loan in Internet Banking

Step 1

Click on your home loan account. If you’re eligible to refix online,^ the Choose a new rate option will be visible. 

If this option isn’t visible, you can request a call back.

Step 2

After selecting Choose a new rate, a new window will open. At the top of this window you’ll see your existing rate and term. In the table displayed you’ll see a list of term and rate options.

If you’re eligible for any discounted rates, you’ll see those rates here.^

Select a term and rate option from the table, then select Next to continue.

Step 3

Choose whether you’d like to change your repayments or keep them as is, then select Next to continue.

Step 4

Read over the terms, then select Agree and continue.

Step 5

Review your new rate and term, then select Confirm

You’ll be able to see the details of your new fixed rate and fixed term in your home loan account, and you’ll also receive a copy via email. 

If you don’t refix

If you choose not to refix, your home loan will automatically switch to a standard variable (floating) rate the day after your fixed term ends.^
