Setting up Google Pay

You can set up Google Pay™ using your BNZ app. You can download the BNZ app from the Google Play store. If you haven’t already registered for Internet Banking, you’ll be prompted to do so. If you have an Apple device you can set up Apple Pay. 

When you can set up Google Pay

  • Flexi Debit Visa cards: add your card before it arrives.  
  • Credit cards: wait until your physical card has arrived and is activated.

How to set up Google Pay

  1. Log in to the BNZ app. 
  2. Tap the Menu icon, then tap Cards. 
  3. Select the card you’d like to add, then tap Add to G Pay.
  4. Read the terms and conditions, then tap Accept and continue. 
  5. You’re now set up to start paying with your phone.
