Pricing: monthly fixed fees

BNZ Pay app monthly fixed fee applies only when you use your device to take payments. You can have the app installed in up to three devices. Monthly fixed fee will be charged per device.

Merchant service fee - Interchange Plus

With Interchange Plus you pay the exact interchange fee based on the card type or how the payment was made. A fixed margin is then added to cover scheme fees, transaction fees, and the acquirer’s margin.

Interchange Plus pricing

Interchange Plus provides greater transparency of your merchant service fees. With Interchange Plus pricing, your merchant service fee is made up of two components.

1. The actual interchange fee associated with each transaction. The actual interchange fee will vary depending on several factors, including the card type used, who issued the card, and how it's processed.
2. A fixed margin (known as the “plus” or “+”) to cover other processing costs, such as scheme fees, third party transaction fees and an acquirer margin.
The above pricing applies for merchants who settle all transactions to a BNZ business account. A premium of 0.45% applies for merchants who settle transactions to non-BNZ business accounts.​

Merchant service fees apply to the total monthly net sales (i.e. sales less refunds).​

To help you start taking payments as quickly as possible, our standard offering is equipped with all the essential features you need. You’ll need a BNZ account for settlements. This can be an existing account or you can set one up when you apply.
