Account reports

You can use the ‘Reports’ function in Internet Banking for Business to create transaction reports for all the accounts you have permission to view. There are also options available to suit different reporting needs, including:

  • Transaction History — search and display all transactions in and out of one account for a specified date range. When you select the export option, you’ll be sent to ‘Reports’ with your selection.
  • Statement Data Download — access to an automated statement data file, delivered daily or the day after the next business day.
  • Payment History — search and display information on payments created and authorised in the last 12 months. Contains information about individual payments within a batch and the authorisers who approved.

How to create an account report

  1. Go to the Accounts tab.
  2. Choose Accounts Summary from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on Reports.
  4. Select an account or accounts, using the check boxes on the right. Click Next.
    • If you select multiple accounts, you’ll be able to select either one combined report or individual reports per account.
  5. Choose a Report type. For more information, see preset report types.
  6. Select the File Format. The options available depend on which Report type you selected. For information on the two GIFTS and CSV file formats, visit our technical support page.
  7. Select a date period from the drop down. You can use preset options or select a customised date range.
  8. Click Download to generate your report.
    • If downloading one combined report, it will open in a new browser tab for you to download the report.
    • If downloading individual reports for each account, they’ll automatically download and appear in your downloads folder.
    • How downloads operate can also depend on your browser.
