Managing travel bookings
You can view and manage your existing travel bookings through the BNZ Rewards portal.
- Log in to Internet Banking or the BNZ app and select your BNZ Advantage credit card account.
- Select BNZ Rewards to go to your BNZ Rewards account.
- Select Redeem rewards to access the BNZ Rewards portal.
- From the menu, select My account, then Manage booking.
The booking policy (provided to you when you made the booking) will apply to any changes or cancellations.
If you request a cancellation, our rewards provider Ascenda will contact you via the email you used for the booking within 24 hours to confirm your cancellation and any relevant charges.
Ascenda charges a fee to cover the processing of your cancellation with the relevant hotel, airline, or car rental company. The following fees also apply:
- hotel bookings incur a fee of 5% of the cash amount to be refunded
- flight bookings incur a fee of $50 plus 5% of the refundable amount paid by card, if applicable
- car rental bookings incur a fee of $25 plus 5% of the refundable amount paid by card, if applicable.
Once the cancellation is processed and confirmed, you’ll be refunded within 10 business days. Refunds will be in cash or BNZ Points, depending on how you paid.
