Understanding how BNZ Points work

With BNZ Rewards, you’ll earn BNZ Points when you use your BNZ Advantage credit card for purchases.^

BNZ Points can be redeemed for rewards such as travel, eGift cards, cash back to your credit card account, or transfers to other participating loyalty programmes. You can redeem your BNZ Points through the BNZ Rewards portal by logging in to Internet Banking or the BNZ app.

Any BNZ Points you earn will be added to your balance within five business days of the eligible purchase. They’re valid for three years from the time they’re earned.

There’s no limit on how many BNZ Points you can earn on eligible purchases.

There may be a limit on bonus points earned through special promotions. Any bonus points earned will be added to your balance based on the terms of the promotion.

If you close your BNZ Advantage credit card and don’t have another card linked to the BNZ Rewards programme, you’ll lose any remaining BNZ Points that you haven’t redeemed yet.
