Redeeming BNZ Points for travel

You can transfer your BNZ Points to a range of global airline and hotel partner programmes, or use them to book flights, hotels, or rental cars directly via the BNZ Rewards portal. There are no blackout dates or waitlisted tickets when you book with BNZ Points.

You can use BNZ Points, or a combination of BNZ Points and cash, to make a travel booking. You can’t combine BNZ Points with other loyalty rewards currencies, such as frequent flyer points.

When you use BNZ Points for travel bookings, you may be able to earn frequent traveller miles or hotel rewards, subject to the terms and conditions of those reward programmes. Include your frequent traveller or rewards details when you book. You’ll earn BNZ Points on any part of your booking paid with cash using your eligible BNZ Advantage Visa card.

Hotels, flights, and car rental bookings must be made at least two days in advance.

Processing time for transferring BNZ Points to travel partners varies and is displayed on each partner page. In some cases, transfers may take up to 15 business days to process.
