Making a lump-sum payment in the BNZ app

You can make a lump-sum (one-off) payment on most fixed and floating home loans from a transactional or savings account in the BNZ app or Internet Banking. Early repayment charges (and withdrawal fees, if paying from a savings account) may apply. 

  1. Log in to the BNZ app.
  2. Select your home loan account.
  3. If your loan is eligible you’ll see a Make a lump sum payment button. Select the button to continue. 
  4. Select the account you want to make the payment from.
  5. Enter the Amount you want to pay.
  6. Select Pay.
  7. Select Confirm.

You can make up to five lump-sum payments per home loan per day.
