Setting up and editing automatic payments in the BNZ app

You can set up, edit, suspend, or stop automatic payments in the BNZ app. You can also manage automatic payments in Internet Banking.

Follow the steps below or use the downloadable guide.

Log in to the BNZ app and select the menu icon (three horizontal lines in top left corner).
Select Make a payment.
Select the account you want to make the payment From.
Select the account you want to make the payment To. If you have saved payees, you can select them from this list. If not choose One-off.
If it’s a one-off, enter the payee name and account details.
Select Add to payees to save these details for any future payments.
Enter the Amount.
Choose a Date to make the payment if you’d like to schedule this for the future.
Choose Repeat to make this a regular payment (automatic payment).
Enter statement details if you’d like to.
For iOS devices, this will open in a separate screen. Once you’ve entered the details, select Back to return to the payment screen.
Select Pay to set up the automatic payment.

From the main screen, select and drag the account you’d like to pay from, onto another account, a payee, or One-off.
Enter the Amount.
Select a start date and select Repeat to set a payment frequency.
Enter statement details if you’d like to, and select Pay (if you’re paying someone) or Transfer (if you’re transferring between accounts)

From the main screen, select the menu icon in the top left corner.
Select Upcoming payments and select your payment.
Select in the fields to edit them directly.
For iOS select the Edit icon in the top right corner.
Edit any of your automatic payment details including the final payment date.
Select Save, and then Confirm.

From the main screen, select the menu icon in the top left corner.
Select Upcoming payments and select your payment.
For iOS select the Bin icon in the top right corner. For Android select the Delete button.
