Opening a new account in the BNZ app

You can add new transaction or savings accounts in the BNZ app if you already have an existing YouMoney or TotalMoney account.

How to open an account 

 1. Log in to the BNZ app. 

2. Tap Add account [+]. This appears alongside or below your existing accounts. 

3. Choose what kind of account you’d like to open. 

4. Name your new account.

Tip: You can also customise your account with a unique picture, or set a savings goal.

Note: If you get an error message, or don’t see the option to Add account [+], it may be because you don’t have the required existing accounts. Give us a call on 0800 275 269 and we can help.
