Funds Transfer Scheme source of funds

If you’re an eligible international student applying for a Funds Transfer Scheme account with us, we’ll need documentation proving your source of funds.

If funds are from your employment, we’ll need:

  • 6 months of bank statements showing your wage or salary payments; and
  • your employment agreement.

If funds are from your parents (or another family member), we’ll need:

  • a copy of their photo ID; and
  • a deed of gift or gifting letter; and
  • 6 months of their bank statements showing their wage or salary payments.

If funds are from an inheritance, we’ll need:

  • either probate, or a will, or a letter from an independent solicitor confirming the inheritance; and
  • a bank statement showing the inheritance payment was deposited into your bank account.

If funds are from a loan, we’ll need:

  • a loan statement/agreement showing details of the loan amount and repayment schedules.

If funds are from a scholarship, we’ll need:

  • a scholarship letter from a government agency detailing the grant (scholarship amount and number of years for scholarship funding).

If funds are from the sale of property, we’ll need:

  • a Sale and Purchase agreement or a letter from an independent solicitor/accountant explaining the sale; and
  • a bank statement showing the sale proceeds were deposited into your bank account.
